Sandi Maqoqa (aka Bubbles), the founder of Point2Point (P2P) Group, is an accredited facilitator in the fields of Diversity Management, Quality Management & Change Management.
She obtained her post Grad Diploma in Diversity Management from the Diversity Institute & Wits Business School. She achieved BSc Degree in Computer Science and later a BCom Honors Degree in Business Administration both from the University of the Western Cape.
Her role as a ICT Advisor (Digital Transformation, Risk & Strategy) and an Independent Consultant became stronger when she got involved in the Academic sector as an external Council Member at KSD TVET College for various committees that include ICT, INFRASTRUCTURE, RISK, GOVERNANCE & COMPLIANCE.
She has worked for different companies/industries as an ICT Executive and consulting as a Snr Advisor in Procurement & Quality Assurance. She has more than 15 years experience in the field of ICT and Project Management. She strongly believes in the enforcement of Governance & Compliance in all sizes and types of businesses. Events management, public speaking & networking with people as well as community involvement comes natural to her.
Apart from her professional background, she brags about the below achievement:
- played Netball at Sandton & Midrand Superleague as well as InterProvincial league representing Gauteng Central
- Founder of Midrand Golden Eagles Netball Club
- running & finishing Comrades marathons (90 km) consecutively since 2022 [a Bronze & 2 Robert Mtshali medals] and other milestone ultra marathons like Cape Town Two Oceans
- national Director of Ms Body Beautiful SA, an initiative that is aimed at promoting fitness & healthy lifestyle among women
- former Mrs Globe SA and represented SA in China in Mrs Globe amongst other 82 countries
- former Mrs Gauteng title holder, top 5 finalist of Mrs Tshwane and 1st RunnerUp of Mrs Mzansi Africa representing Gauteng.
Sandi's idea of P2P Academy is to establish a platform of knowledge sharing across the country & beyond borders as well as exploring the role played by the government, shareholders & stakeholders in small & medium enterprises. The aim is to promote knowledge sharing, development, growth and unity amongst the youth of South Africa as well as to bridge the gap between such youth, Funders and Entrepreneurs.
